Blue skies ahead for the European Interim Market?
INIMA recently held a roundtable to discuss the workload of association members, here follows a few important insights into the recovery of the interim management market across Europe.
France has never had such a high demand for Interim Management and there may be a shortage of managers soon, At this moment over 80% of our members are on contract. this was reported by Jean-Philippe Ménétret , President of AE-CMT.
In the UK the situation is less clear-cut said Tony Evans , Chairman of IIM, it is still crazy and the demand is not completely rational. There is a lower request for managers at CEO or board level as there is less risk capital available from the financial institutions for structural change.
Marei Strack, Chairwoman of DDIM stated the situation was similar in Germany with turn-around specialists in low demand, such as CROs and sales and marketing. On the other hand, there is a high demand for managers in HR, Finance, Healthcare and Supply-Chain specialists.
We will continue to monitor the European IM market as the situation evolves
